PROJECT OVERVIEW :
When disasters hit, the first ones to be affected are the local actors. Local actors are also the first ones to react and take action to cope with the situation, they also have their own know how regarding the region and its difficulties, they are the key to humanitarian effectiveness. This film for the IFRC aims at highlighting the importance of local actors, and how humanitarian actors should not only include them but also place them at the center of their actions. So we can all learn from each other and make sure that their future is on their hands.
